This holiday season, the Centro Botín in Santander is transforming into a vibrant hub of creativity, art, and community spirit, offering a diverse array of activities that promise to make your Christmas celebrations truly unforgettable.

A Universe of Creativity and Art

From December 21 to January 5, 2025, the Centro Botín invites you to immerse yourself in a world of art, technology, and imagination. The theme of this year's Christmas program is "Navidad en blanco" (White Christmas), encouraging participants to see the new year as a blank canvas ready to be filled with new projects, ideas, and dreams.

"Luces Blancas" - A Stellar Spectacle

One of the highlights of the program is the "Luces Blancas" (White Lights) event, a unique visual spectacle that fills the auditorium with stars. Using 30 drones managed by Flock Drone Art, the auditorium is transformed into a starry night sky, creating an enchanting atmosphere that invites attendees to dream and reflect on the power of collective creativity.

"Bosque en Blanco" - Paint and Illuminate

In the "Bosque en Blanco" (White Forest) activity, the aulas of the Centro Botín are turned into a landscape of white cardboard trees, inviting everyone to unleash their creativity by painting, decorating, and illuminating these trees. This interactive space is designed to stimulate imagination and community engagement.

Literary and Creative Spaces

The auditorium will also be converted into a literary salon with a view of the Bay of Santander. Here, participants can contribute to a collective reading space by writing stories in blank books, navigating through recommended books from Cantabrian libraries, or collaborating on a large communal blanket that will cover the floor of the auditorium.

Music and Dance

Music and dance are integral parts of the celebrations. On December 26 at 18:00 hours, the "Coro Efímero" (Ephemeral Choir) will perform a rock version of "Blanca Navidad" under the direction of Esteban Sanz Vélez and accompanied by Ana González Pastor on the keyboard. Participants are encouraged to submit their ideas for new lyrics before December 19.

For those who love to dance, the "Disco en Blanco" (White Disco) event on January 2 at 18:00 hours promises an energetic and creative experience. DJ UVE and the dancer and choreographer Bhera 224 will lead the session, combining hip-hop and house music with contemporary and break dance techniques, all set in a stylishly white-themed environment.

Family-Friendly Events

The program also includes activities tailored for families. On December 21, the musical performance "Migración, un viaje patas arriba" tells the story of a family of birds on an adventurous journey, while on January 4, "Wonka" explores the youthful adventures of Willy Wonka, the iconic chocolatier created by Roald Dahl.
